How Do We Understand The Disadvantaged People?

Most of the time we minimize people’s  feelings and needs. As we continue to support the disadvantaged students in the Togo, we have come to realize that the needs are more than we thought and this, I would not blame anybody because we all did not know.

The needs are so many and one might not know where to start from but we can still choose   to start somewhere, somehow and anyhow.

When you ask a child or a student in some remote areas of the world, about what they need help with in becoming a positive person, an intellectual,  some will say a school uniform, other books and more will tell you that they need a support with the school fees and others will  express the need of more schools closer distance to where they live  and or bicycle to get to school.  (the distance between their house and the school.) Children are walking for 4 kilometers to reach school and this,  4 time a day.  As opposed to the students in developed countries who want an iPad,  iPod, Nook, a laptop and so on.

As I am writing this, it is not that I am only taking what they said. It is because I know what they are talking about. I have lived there, I have walked the same miles or kilometers to school, I needed the same that they need today with the world wide’s hardship that everybody knows.

On September 9th 2012, as the Friends of Disadvantaged Students for Brighter Future FDSBF) were at CEG of Badja in Togo for the second edition of supporting the school, the students and their families, we got to notice that human being in certain areas of the world needs more than we can think.

Women, men, teacher, kings, students need to be stimulated by hearing from others. Women want to see the successful fellow women and hear from other women,  their experiences and how they made. We wand to wish to sit down with other women that were in the same conditions as they are now and learn how to do things. They wish another women could share her family life, business life, social live with them. Students want to be able to talk with other students from other schools such as elementary, meddle,  and high schools, even with universities. They want to know what possibilities and opportunities are there not only in their towns and cities or countries but also what the world has available for them.

My people of the whole world, join me to help human beings of the other part of the world. Know that your help will never fall in ungrateful hands. As little as you think it will be, your  contribution will still make a difference. Peace and love to you all
